What would you do if your son really tought that he is an alien?

My professor has a 7 year old son, that really thinks he is an alien. Everyboby have an opinnion and she don�t know what ti do anymore. Is funny, but the boy ca�n not grow up thinking that. What would you do to help the boy but not traumatize him??
