Why did Obama think it was going to be easy, bringing Peace to the Middle East? Naivete?

He has a higher opinion of himself then do the leaders in the middle east. He thought that to know him was to love him, and that they would do his bidding. A huge misjudgment on his part. Carter got a Nobel for his work in the middle east too, and yet, it's still going on. Maybe Obama could learn from Reagan, peace through strength did work, the USSR crumbled like a house of cards after Reagan got "Star Wars " ped.
