Why did Barry Soetero (Obama) register as MUSLIM in schools in Jakarta and clmates recall him as devout?

In primary school, you don't choose your religion. Your parents choose for you. I was a registered Catholic, but haven't been for years. And WHO CARES if he is a Muslim? Are you just another redneck bigot who thinks all Muslims are terrorists?
