Help!windows media player no sounds when playing DVDs!!?

can someone help me on this. when i play DVDs on windows media player theres no sound coming out. i know its not the speakers or volume or something. because i tried playing just music or a music cd in WMP but it works. but when it comes to playing DVDs, no sounds coming out!! help someone!
